His United Body Community Church (The HUB) is a community of faithful believers in the heart of Elmira, New York. Our vision is to see whole-life transformation by meeting people’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Our mission is to be a church that lives by faith, is known by love, to connect people to Jesus Christ, through authentic relationships, so that that all people may:
KNOW the love of God in Jesus Christ
GROW as disciples of Jesus Christ, and
GO share the love of God in Jesus Christ.
What We Believe
JESUS CHRIST – Jesus Christ is completely human but, at the same time, completely God. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have a FULL LIFE. He became man, so that we may know Him. He willingly gave Himself up for us as a sacrifice and defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have life, and live life to the fullest.
THE BIBLE – The Bible is God’s Holy Word; it is the inspired, infallible authority without error; it was written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit; the Word of God is His love letter to us, His People.
GOD THE FATHER – All-powerful, holy, all-knowing, ever-present, and beyond all that we think He is!
THE HOLY SPIRIT – He is ever-present in the lives of the followers of Christ and assures us of our relationship with Christ. He convicts us of our sin. He instructs and guides God’s children into all truth and exalts Christ. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.
THE CHURCH – The Church is God’s chosen instrument to work in the world.
SALVATION – We are sinners in need of a Savior. Our Salvation can only be found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts. We are not saved through what we do, but only by God’s amazing grace.

His United Body Community Church is a member of the Churches of God General Conference. A part of the movement of churches working together to maximize our collective potential for Kingdom impact, to change the nation through a network of church leaders, national gatherings, training events, and resources. Giving God all the glory He deserves.
Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
